2018 Vauxhall Adam Energised, 1.2 petrol, manual, 70bhp.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

It’s a lovely metallic blue, with black A, B and C pillars and roof.

She loves it and her daughter has the same (different colours though).

Color is nice, such a refreshing sight in the sea of grey/white/black vehicles.

I guess everyone is doing floating C-Pillars now.

That Opel/Vauxhall has been on the market for 5 years now though. With that floating roof.

Yeah, it’s not so much the floating roof thing that bugs me, it’s that swoop on the rear pillar.

In the US market, I blame Nissan above all, but everyone is doing it.

Wouldn’t be so bad if it was actually unique and not copycatted.

Ye’, it’s a beautiful colour.

I think more Brits are going for colours rather than the ‘safe’ ones.

If small cars were more popular in the US I could have seen that here as a Buick.

Nah, if Buick gave you the Adam, they wouldn’t give you the Jam, Slam or Glam.

They’d give you the Adam Rocks or Adam Rocks Air. Lol.

That’s a good looking car.

70bhp is enough, I can’t help myself from web-shopping for one of these:

Kinja'd!!!

Anywhere from 54 to 72 bhp (assuming PS == HP exactly).

You can’t be American then. Lol.

So many bemoan anything with less than 200-250bhp of smaller than a 2litre.

My U.S. spec 2013 Focus was equipped with a 2.0 160 hp base! I don’t think you can get anything close to that in base euro spec. It had plenty of power in my opinion.

I get 148bhp from a 2016 1.4TSi ACT.

The number of people on here who when they are told a new car has a 1.6 engine say, ‘needs more power’, ‘needs at least a 2.5 litre engine and RWD’, etc...

I’m Canadian, so I’m ok with that.

Also, our 2-car household has more than 500 hp, and I’m ok with that, too.
